About US

We opened in 2019..

We opened our doors in April 2019. We loved the town of Bedford and wanted to bring something new and unique to town!! We offer custom barn wood furniture as well as the latest furniture & home decor!! We recently added baby & kid gifts and toys to our ever changing inventory!!! We love bringing all the latest decor styles to our customers!!! Come Check out all we have to offer!!

Our Inspiration

At BVA Mercantile, we want to be your trusted source for quality and unique items that will be in your home for years to come. Our custom made tables often times incorporate repurposed items to give them new life!!

Our Products

We offer a variety of home decor items from top selling vendors. Our custom made tables are made from quality reclaimed barn wood that willl last for years to come. We also offer various other furniture pieces in store both new and antique. Our home decor is unique in that its items you won't find in every store, We carefully curate our selections. We recently added baby & kid gifts to our store! These items are high quality and unique. We also are an official Happy Everything store!! Come grab your attachments for those bases!!!

Our mission is to provide our customers with beautiful and unique home decor items that inspire them to decorate their home in new and exciting ways.  We take pride in our products and our focus is on the relationships we can build with our customers.

You can find us Friday 12-5 and Saturday 10-3 in downtown Bedford at 206 W Depot St. Make plans to visit us soon to get inspiration for your home with our custom barn wood furniture, new home decor, and baby & kid gifts!

You can also find us at White Barn Vintage located at 711 Pocket Road in Hurt, VA. White Barn Vintage is a vintage & handmade goods marketplace.This is where you can find the bulk of our vintage and antique pieces.

They are open 1 weekend each month with over 38 vendors!
Open the 3rd weekend Fri/Sat 10-4 Sunday 12-4
Located on 22 acres in a handmade barn designed for our customers with two silos!
